May we take special notice that if salvation was ‘primarily‘ about early triumphs, that then the saved thief on the cross must have received an inferior version of it (salvation) – despite encountering the very able Saviour himself. For his earthly circumstances remained unchanged (including a fatal one – the cross). He was given neither earthy wealth nor earthly health – except for a heavenly entitlement (shortly before the persisting brutality of the said cross claimed his life). But was it really inferior? I reckon not!
